Reef Building, and Underwater Robotics

Plus Purple Tile Made From Sea Urchins and Sailing Cargo

Hello Ocean Friends,

Happy July! A bit of a shorter edition this week while I get back to my usual publishing schedule.

If you haven’t seen it yet, check out Propeller’s look at the ClimateTech map. They recently published the phrase ‘the ocean is a strategy, not a sector’ and dived into it. I’ve been thinking about that simple thought and love it the more I think about it. Read the piece and sign up for Propeller’s awesome OMBA program.

Also, I want to shout out my friend Maggie Wong’s podcast interview with Orpheus Ocean’s CEO and Co-founder (and my friend), Jake Russell. You can find it on Spotify and Apple. Check it out for a good look into the Ocean’s role in decarbonization.

For my American Ocean Friends, have a happy Fourth of July this weekend! For my non-American Ocean Friends, enjoy not dealing with the political nonsense we are stuck in over here!

Best,
Will
