Photon Marine's Sea Trials, Hatch Blue's Investment, and Wärtsilä's Future Fuels

Plus French Wave Energy and Revent’s Big New Fund

Hello Ocean Friends,

Well, I was all geared up and ready for Photon Marine’s NYC sea trials, but woke up with a nasty head cold thanks to my five year old daughter. I’m pretty sad I missed it, but Special BlueX Correspondent and fellow-former-submariner Dave Rossberg was on the scene!

So quiet. So electric. The cleanest thing in the Hudson.

When I asked Dave how his 20 kt, extremely quiet, trip on the Hudson went. He said:

“Awesome”

Thanks Dave for that detailed reporting.

In all seriousness, I’m sorry to have missed it. And I’m going to do my damnedest to get on the next available ride. I’m skipping my weekly interview this week because I was sick. Back to our regularly scheduled programming next week.

Best,
Will
