NYC OceanTech Summit Planning: Open Call for Researchers and Startups
AI in Aquaculture, AI in Maritime, Insect Aquaculture Feeds, and Water Precipitation. Plus, Phoenix Capital’s Blue Economy Investment Report and Welding Robots

Hello Ocean Friends,
I’m neck deep in putting the final planning touches the NYC OceanTech Summit 2025, so no interview this week.
We have an invite open to startups and researchers in the OceanTech space (aquaculture, robotics, climate AI, biomaterials, maritime, and others I can’t think of) to join us for the summit. Last year (our first year) we know of startups that found investors and accelerators because of connections made there. I encourage you to apply.
Thank You To WINGS
WINGS funds women researchers and scientists worldwide in bold exploration and groundbreaking discoveries. A lot of whom are doing fantastic work in ocean conservation. Come to the summit and you might meet some of these awesome women.
Best,
Will
