NYC Climate Week, DAC for E-Fuels and Aquaculture Feed
Plus Robotic Hull Cleaning, OSW Monopile Installs, and the Unions Push for US Shipbuilding

Hello Ocean Friends,
Well NYC Climate Week was a blast. Exhausting (enough that it took me four days to put this edition together) and energizing. Two years ago when starting this newsletter, I predicted BlueTech was having a moment, I believe that the moment is here.
Activate, Newlab, Founders Factory, Investable Oceans, Photon Marine, and way way more, all out in force. To miss-quote my friends at Propeller, what if OceanTech isn’t a sector, but a strategy? NYC CW was a case study in BlueTech strategies to today’s hardest tech challenges.
Rare Earth Elements? Find them in ocean brine.
Energy crisis? Solve it with wind, wave and tidal energy.
Global supply chain pressure? Bring in the future of maritime.
Carbon capture and sequestration? The ocean is our biggest ally.
I’m energized and motivated. You should be to.
Best,
Will
