A Successful 2025 NYC OceanTech Summit
Plus Builder Vision’s New Project, SWEN's Big Raise, Progression Conference, and Water From Thin Air

Hello Ocean Friends,
The second (now annual) NYC OceanTech Summit is in the books! We had a blast and cannot believe how great it turned out. It was the only place in NYC where you could have an advanced air-metal reaction power supply (Metal Light Inc.) and tech-farmed oysters (Seascape Aquatech Inc.) in the same expo hall as waste-to-fuel (Lukera Energy) and hard tech ocean data monitoring (Sofar Ocean). I can say definitively that BlueTech in NYC is both strong and growing. I owe a deep and heartfelt thank you to our supporters:
It was exciting, fun, and an energizing day. For some prelim pictures, the startups who were there, and more of my thank-you’s, check out my LinkedIn post on the event.
A very special thank you to the startups who tabled. You guys are the ones proving that OceanTech is not just doing well, but thriving right now!
It feels like these past few weeks have been PACKED for BlueTech. Nor-shipping just wrapped up, this weekend was World Oceans Day, and now the UN Oceans Conference in Nice is spinning up. If you hear any cool news from these events, send them my way! I’m jealous to be missing them.
