BlueX | 5-6-24 | UFL's Offshore Wind Innov Hub Pitch Day, Maritime Sustainability, and Fish Processing

Plus Electric Boats, Aquaculture IoT, and a Seafood Impact Fund

BlueTech Friends,

Welcome to May! Lots of good stuff in this week’s newsletter. So many special announcements, that I’m thinking of starting a new section just for all the activities and events in the BlueTech world.

First, New York’s Offshore Wind Innovation Hub is hosting the Wind-Win Startup Showdown to celebrate the program’s finalists and do some killer networking. May 15th, Brooklyn.

Right after the Wind-Win Showdown is my own OceanTech NYC Summit on the 16th and 17th in partnership with Vendee Globe. A big thank you to the summit’s supporters:

Next, HAX opened its doors in Newark and held a killer Demo Day. If you are into ClimateTech (including BlueTech) these guys are awesome and you should be paying attention.

Last, BlueX hit a fun milestone this weekend, 500 subscribers. I don’t make any money from this newsletter. It is 100% a passion project in an area I love and believe in. Thank you all for subscribing, reading, and engaging.

Best,
Will
