Plus Female Leadership in Sustainability, Plus Green Hydrogen

OceanTech Friends,

My alma mater, Carnegie Mellon University, has an awesome entrepreneurship program at the Swartz Center. This week the Center’s VentureBridge program came through NY and I got to hang out with one of my favorite OceanTech startups, Aquatonomy. The tech is cool, the mission is broad, and the team is fantastic. If you’re an investor in BlueTech, keep an eye on this team.

If you’re a ClimateTech science founder, and you’ve been in a room with me for more than five minutes, you’ve probably heard me prattle on about how awesome I think Activate is. That’s because it is an awesome program! Well, this week, Activate published a piece on how OceanTech is having a moment (including a nice shout out to this newsletter). I couldn’t agree more. OceanTech is having a moment. All through NYCW you could feel the momentum.

Have a good week!

Best,
Will
